My wedding videography approach to your wedding is to be completely discreet. I respect the environment of your special day, ensuring that both you and your guests can be fully present in the moment. Generally, no one will even know they are being filmed, allowing for genuine, unscripted captures of your story, all without being obtrusive.
I'll be there from morning preparations through the evening party, ensuring I don't miss a thing. You can relax and enjoy your day, trusting that every important moment is being preserved. Most of the footage I capture comprises short clips (so I can be in and out before anyone realizes they were being filmed), but I will also film your entire ceremony and speeches in full, using 2 camera angles and capturing audio. You'll receive these full recordings, as well as your edited wedding film(s).
I don’t want you to miss your special day!
Your time is valuable, and I won’t keep you away from your friends and family. I want you to spend your day having the best time along with your family and friends - it’s not often you get all your favourite people in the same place at the same time.
That’s why I will work with the photographer on the day and follow him along maximising your time during your couple portraits. I'll also capture the important family group photos and the bridal party to keep everyone happy.
Looking for a more unposed approach?
If you’re not a fan of posing for photos, then you're in the right place.I understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera, and that's okay. You're probably like me, camera-shy and someone who doesn't like having their photo taken! I’m of the opinion that a wedding isn't a photoshoot, and after long months of planning, you deserve to enjoy it with your loved ones. That's why I don't whisk you away for hours and I promise you, I won’t take up too much of your time - that’s why I will work alongside your photographer to capture those key moments during couple photos and group photos.
There won't be any awkward posing or clichés moments - just unique images that reflect you both. I use a gentle approach and will guide you in the right
Always present but never obtrusive
Typically, throughout your wedding day I won't get in your way, I'll mind my own business, I won't be only in the background, but you won't have to deal with me pestering you either. I usually take the back sit, I like to think I am a fly on the wall and sometimes blend in with your guests, but I'll never ask you or your guests to pose for the camera or do anything that makes you feel like you're putting on a show. Couples that book me are down to earth, are easy going and just want to enjoy their day. There will be times I will ask you to move to specific places because the natural light is best or more directional, like window light - during for example bridal preparation. Apart from this, it’s your day and your way and on my side it’s documentary approach - 95% of my coverage will be made up of natural and candid videography footage capturing all the vibes as it happens! All the giggles with your bridesmaids/groomsmen during the morning preparation, father and bride first look, al the nice little and big moments during reception, heartfelt speeches and crazy moves on the dance floor - I love a good party!
The remaining 5% of the day will be your stunning couple cinematic footage for your wedding highligh film, footage of the key family members during group photos and some fun footage of you bridal party.
