My approach to your wedding day
Your wedding photography shouldn’t dominate the day!
My wedding photography and videography style is rooted in documentary, with a touch of editorial for the easy-going couple. My natural and relaxed approach captures the unique vibe of your wedding day, focusing on the real moments, genuine emotions, and unscripted joy that make it so special, all without being obtrusive. I love working with couples who are essentially looking for the day to be documented just as it happens.
On your wedding day, I will blend in like a guest, enjoy the day as much as they do, and jump from one moment to the next, working hard to find and document all the smiles, hugs and love that can’t be repeated. I’m not the type of photographer who stands at the end of the room with a big zoom lens that no one can ignore.
I don’t want you to miss your special day!
I always remember my brother’s wedding, where they disappeared for ages for photos! Your time is valuable, and I won’t keep you away from your friends and family. I want you to spend your day having the best time along with your family and friends - it’s not often you get all your favourite people in the same place at the same time.
I only need 20 minutes for your couple photos, where I give you light direction and prompts to keep things fluid and natural. Of course, I'll also take care of those important family group photos to keep everyone happy and it will only take 20 minutes rather than hours!
Looking for a more unposed approach?
If you’re not a fan of posing for photos, then you're in the right place. I understand that not everyone is comfortable in front of the camera, and that's okay. You're probably like me, camera-shy and someone who doesn't like having their photo taken! I’m of the opinion that a wedding isn't a photoshoot, and after long months of planning, you deserve to enjoy it with your loved ones. That's why I don't whisk you away for hours and I promise you, I won’t take up too much of your time for your couple photos and group photos. I only need 20 minutes to create stunning portraits of you both while you relax and bask in the joy of being married! After all, this will be the first time you two get to be alone as a married couple, a time to take a deep breath and savour the moment.
There won't be any awkward posing or clichés moments - just unique images that reflect you both. I will guide you gently in the right direction, using prompts if necessary to keep things fluid and natural. Each wedding is unique, and that's exactly how I approach it. My aim is to document the connection between you two in a natural way.
Always present but never obtrusive
Typically, throughout your wedding day I won't get in your way, I'll mind my own business, I won't be lurking in the background, but you won't have to deal with me pestering you either. I usually blend in with your guests and share a few laughs along the way, but I'll never ask you or your guests to pose for the camera or do anything that makes you feel like you're putting on a show. During family formals things might be a bit more posed and I might need to guide everyone, but I will try to keep everything very relaxed and fun. Couples that book me are down to earth, are easy going and just want to enjoy their day. Of course, if you want those some amazing couple photos you see on my portfolio on some magazines, I will gently guide you in some way. There will be times I will ask you to move to specific places because the natural light is best or more directional, like window light - during for example bridal preparation, couple photos or group photos. Apart from this, it’s your day and your way and on my side it’s documentary approach - 95% of my coverage will be made up of natural and candid photography and videography footage capturing all the vibes as it happens! All the giggles with your bridesmaids/groomsmen during the morning preparation, father and bride first look, al the nice little and big moments during reception, heartfelt speeches and crazy moves on the dance floor - I love a good party!
The remaining 5% of the day will be your stunning couple photos and beautiful cinematic footage for your wedding highligh film, formal group photos and some funny photos with the bride and groom parties.
I also Love GROUP photos. We want to keep the family happy!
I think they are very important because it’s not very often you have all those loved ones together all in one place and later after a few years you will appreciate it. This is the only time on the day that things will get a bit more posed but even then I try to keep things fun and natural. We can also do some more creative group photos with your bride and groom party if you are up for it. I always work with the couple structuring the drinks reception in order to get these captured.
I only need 20 minutes of your time to get about 12 group photos done.

I like to think that my work is classic with a creative flare. I'm not here to follow trends but rather focus in telling the story of your day exactly as it is - no setting up moments or over-edited images - I aim for real, true-to-life colors that t. You won't be looking back in 20 years wondering why the colors look off or why your summer wedding feels like winter. For me, it's all about creating images that stand the test of time and will make you transport back to how your wedding day felt - it’s for you, not for my Instagram or the next big trend. My goal is to capture your day in a way that feels authentic and real, so your memories stay as fresh and timeless as they felt in the moment.
