Hey there! Carlos here, a full-time wedding photographer based in Wiltshire who travels all over the UK to document weddings. For over a decade, I've been lucky enough to capture the joy and emotions of more than 250 beautiful weddings. It's been an incredible journey, and I truly love what I do and genuinely believe that I have the best job in the world! Photography has been my passion since childhood and I have been inspired by my father who used to document local events back in our country of origin with his film camera.

When I’m not Photographing weddings...
I like to explore the countryside with my wife Lais and our two daughters. I was born in Angola, but have lived in the Caribbean in the beautiful island of Cuba where my mom is originally from. In my late teenage years, I moved to Portugal to start planning for university studies. There I earned a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and two Master's degrees - one in microelectronics engineering and another in semiconductors engineering. A job opportunity brought me to the UK almost 10 years ago - time has flown by! I like to think that my education in the engineering field helped shape some aspects of my photography style.
I really enjoy traveling, and beach destinations are my favorite places to visit. Mauritius is one spot I love going to, and Cyprus is my second favorite! If I could, I'd live right next to the ocean! Back in Portugal I used to live 15 minutes drive from the beach.
Movies are another passion of mine - classics like Titanic and Top Gun are two of my all-time favourites. I listen to all kinds of music, from popular songs to traditional Angolan music from my home country. My playlist is extremely varied! I also really like great coffee and cake - it's a small indulgence I allow myself, ha! One random talent I have is being able to wiggle my ears one at a time. It's not the most useful skill, but it's kind of fun and I can show you on your wedding day, ha!
What truly fuels my passion for wedding photography is the chance to visually tell a unique and authentic love story. No two weddings are alike, but I pour my heart into each one and give my all on the day. Those unplanned, spontaneous moments are the ones that make an album significantly more meaningful, even years later.
